At a recent gathering held for actor George “Goober” Lindsey during the week of his 83rd birthday, inspired by my recent series on “Aging Gracefully,” IÂ had the opportunity to ask Lindsey the question “What is the secret of a long life?” As you might imagine, his answer was both unexpected and funny.
George Lindsey could teach us all a thing or two about aging with grace and humor. May my sense of humor be half as good as his when I am in my 80s!
